Gratitude

It's never too late to give thanks.  Thank you to those of you who have always encouraged me to "do something with the talent God gave [me] you."  You know who you are.  I think of you often and will never be able to fully show my gratitude.  Be blessed as you come in and go out.

Growing up watching my Dad use his artistic talent and heeding the gentle prodding of both of my parents has cultivated an ever deepening, always increasing love and appreciation for art and the pursuit of developing my own talents and abilities.  I've found great inspiration in the variegated styles of Van Gogh, Monet, Picasso, Klimt, Grandma Moses, Georgia O'Keefe and many others that I am still discovering and referring to for visual instruction. However, my greatest inspiration and dare I say "muse" is found when relaxing my grip and opening my heart, mind and hands to the prompting and guidance of the greatest Artist of all, our Creator and my Heavenly Father. I hope you are able to  sense that in the work that is produced.
